In a nutshell

We are seeking a highly motivated Intellectual Property Development Intern to join us fully-remote, based in Spain 🇪🇸️ for 6-12 months

Your Mission

Expand and protect ICODOS' intellectual property (IP) portfolio to secure competitive advantage in e-methanol technology

Outcomes you will achieve

• Delivered patent drafts ready for IP attorney review and final submission
• Performed comprehensive State of the Art (SotA) research to identify conflicting patents and delivered documentation to IP attorneys for patent submission
• Compiled and maintained a complete IP asset inventory, tracking all foreseen and unforeseen intellectual property rights
• Established new procedures for monitoring markets, competitors, and SotA techniques in e-methanol production
• Identified partnership and technology acquisition/licensing opportunities through systematic R&D analysis across ICODOS impact areas
• Provided strategic input on IP-related project sections, expanding beyond allocated IPR scope
• Executed IPR protection and validation procedures, including PCT mechanisms and country validation processes
